I’m drawing a neo-grotesque font.
I started drawing a “neo-grotesque” font to replace the over-use of helvetica in my posters. Basically it is a font for personal use. Like always my disordered style of mind prevented me to be efficient, but this time I really want to reach the end of the process.
I’ve started a thread on typophile (where you can find pdfs of my progress), and now I think is time to post an image of the font on my own site. As you can see the font need a lot of editing to be acceptable, but basically looks like I wanted it to look.
It is also clear that a bolder version is needed if I want to use this thing for posters etc.
